Shirley Louise (Parks) Todd, 93, died on May 5, 2021. We, as her family, rejoice with her that she is Home with Jesus, but she leaves a hole in our hearts that only she could fill.
Shirley was born on October 5, 1927, to Les and Phyllis Parks in Billings, Montana. Sister Lorraine and brother Ed completed the family. She married Hardin Todd on February 25, 1949. Three children were blessed to come from this union of deep commitment and love, Pamie and twins, Ron and David. Shirley loved her family and kept them at the center of her life while working at several secretarial jobs through the years, including the Yellowstone County Auditor’s Office, First Security Bank, and as an elementary school secretary at Garfield, Orchard, and Arrowhead schools. Shirley brought her highly refined skills of organization, beautifying environments, and caring for people into these places of work. Some of her favorite past times were needlework, knitting, crocheting, camping, boating at Deadman’s Basin, RV’ing in Arizona, dressing beautifully for work and special occasions, and gracing all hand written items, even “honey do” lists, with her stunning penmanship. Shirley invested in the lives of others as a volunteer at Billings Clinic and at Faith Chapel with Kids’ Ministry projects and as “Camp Grandma” for summer camp. Her love for Jesus and His Word were the basis of her giving heart. There will be a family graveside later this summer. Memorials can be made to Faith Chapel Camp Scholarship fund or the charity of your choice. Shirley was predeceased by parents: Les and Phyllis Parks, sister: Lorraine (Arlyn) McJunkin, husband: Hardin Todd, son: Ron Todd. Surviving to honor Shirley with love are brother and family: Ed (Audrey) Parks, Doug, Kathy, and Jason and families, daughter and family: Pamie (Curtis) Bevolden, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Evan (Andrea) Bevolden, Kristin (Caleb) Lande, Nora and Ava, son and family: David (Pam) Todd, grandson: Mark (Jessica) Todd, greatgrandchildren: Lily, Haley, Aiden, Logan, Mackinsey, granddaughter: Beth (Shawn) Goodwin, greatgranddaughters: Sierra and Geneva, granddaughter: Amy Todd (Josh Colky), daughter-in-law and family: Becky Todd, granddaughter: Sarah (Matt) Noyes, greatgrandchildren: Jessie and Levi, grandson: Luke (Christy) Todd, greatgrandchildren: Hannah and Tatum, grandson: Sam (Kara) Todd, greatgrandchildren: Eli, Ella, Evelyn, Annelise,
nephew: Greg (Kathie) Todd and family, niece: Sandy McJunkin and family, niece: Phyllis (Scott) Johnson and family.

Sending my loving sympathy to Shirley's family in her passing. I've known her (and some of you) for many years through Faith Chapel. What a wonderful woman! I know you will miss her terribly, but be assured that she's on her way to a better place!
With much love, Bev Wallace.

It was with sadness I saw that your mother /grandmother/great-grandmother/ sister had left to be with Jesus, not because she's with Jesus, but because she left us all behind! My heart is with you all. I remember her gracious heart. She was one of the ladies I would strive to be like. Hugs to you all.
