Dean Edward Smith, 79, of Reed Point passed away on February 8, 2021. Dean was born in Billings, Montana on November 19, 1941 to his parents Dale and Nellie Smith. His older siblings Sue, Bill, and Larry helped welcome him into the family. They lived near Pryor as well as up the Boulder in Big Timber Montana. Dean graduated from Reed Point High School in 1960 and later from Eastern College (now MSUB) in Billings. After graduating he was employed by Proctor and Gamble traveling across the United States giving out samples and promoting their products. This was a job he truly enjoyed, but Deans’ true passion was working on cars. So Dean moved his business from Billings to Reed Point and started Reed Point Motors.
