It is with great sadness that on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 the family of Connie Fredrickson announces that she left us unexpectedly after sustaining injuries from a fall at home.
She was born December 18, 1944 in St. Xaivier, MT to Alexander and Frances (Koch) Frank. Following the early death of her mother she was adopted by Henry and Elizabeth (Hardt) Frank.
Connie enjoyed spending summers fishing, sewing quilts and attending to her flowers. She also enjoyed traveling in the winters to South Padre Island and rubbing in the nice weather to everyone else who was in the deep freeze at home. She spent many days sharing her cooking knowledge and making homemade noodles, German dishes, and cookies. However her biggest passion was for her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and her dogs. She was strong and stubborn (a family trait) and had been battling kidney disease and the complications relating to it for many years and those traits kept her fighting the fight. You learned quickly to never underestimate her and to never count her out and she was fiercely protective of her family.
Connie married Robert Reiter in 1966 and they had 3 children; Bobby, Scott, and Christina. She married James Fredrickson in 1984 and gained a daughter Debbie (Bart) Weber and a son Jim Fredrickson.
Connie was preceded in death by her son Bobby, Husband James Fredrickson, Brothers Donny and Vince Frank, and Sisters Josephine Streever, Evie Bauwens, Frances Haman, Gloria Robertus, Shirley Schoessler, and Elsie Bernhardt. She is survived by her brothers John, Roy, and Norman Frank; Sisters Marian Starnes and Rita Kroll. She will be sadly missed by her Son Scott (Shannel) Reiter and Daughter Christina (Ray) Hatfield. Connie will also be fondly remembered by her 8 Grandkids Ashley (Kai) Dechau, Alysha (Harold) Wilson, Rachel James, Rebecca Thompson, Jacob Reiter, Aubreyanne (Jake) Cosentino, Hannah Weber, and Josh Weber. The light of her life was her 10 Great Grandkids Kylee, Bridger, and Maggie Wilson, Oakleigh and Brody Johnsey, Hailee Thompson, Ryker Coleman, Chloe and Blake Cosentino, and Evie Weber.
Those who so desire to make any memorial donations in memory of Connie please do so to First Congregational Church of Laurel.
