Our Junie Collins (JuJu) passed away on 11/17/2020 after battling ovarian cancer for seven years. It never ceases to amaze us how brave and graceful she was though her entire battle.
Junie was born July 3, 1946 in Billings, MT to parents Fritz and Marie Kautz. Junie graduated from Laurel High School and then obtained a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Montana. She spent over 30 plus years in the field of social work, with her main focus on helping children and families. Her most recent position was as a family resource specialist with the Department of Family Services until her retirement in December of 2012. She loved her work with a passion and changed many lives throughout the years. She was beloved by her co-workers and the families she worked with. Many of her co-workers became her family that she is still close with to this day. Junie had an innate sense of faith in the goodness of people.
Junie was preceded in death her parents, her brother Gary, her sister Bonnie Langager, and uncle Montelle Kautz.
Junie is survived by her brother Freddie Kautz, significant other and best friend Harvey Langager, her niece Gina (Shane) Poor, and nephew Ross (Jenny) Langager. The light of her life was her great niece's Dalcee and Sutton Poor and great nephew's Dylan and Logan Langager. She loved more than anything spending time with "Juju's girls" and her little boys when they were in town. She has also been blessed with a great extended family that loved her so much.
A private family burial will be held. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2021 due to Covid 19.
Her all inclusive giving and loving nature captivated everyone who met her. Thank-you for making us all better people. Our lives will be forever changed. Fly high sweet Juju we will love you forever.

June was such a sweet lady! Always smiling! I am forever grateful for her work in Family Services. She helped us to adopt our son in 2006! She was the most upbeat and loving woman! She kindly helped us through the process of adopting and had a great sense of humor through it all. She was great at what she did, but I do truly believe anyone who knew her, if only for a short time, was the better for it! She changed our lives for the better! She will be missed!

I met June at the gym. She and I took several of the same classes. She was an amazing person and I am so fortunate to have known her. I have had some major health issues of my own and her positivity and optimism gave me strength to continue to fight my own health struggles. She was always concerned with my wellbeing and checking in to see how I was feeling, despite her health issues. I will miss her a lot. The gym won't be the same without her. I always looked forward to the next time I would see her. I'm sorry for your loss.

Junie who was always smiling, that is one of the things I Will always remember about her. We first met at the YWCA in an aerobics class in 1981. We became Friends then and after as we went on to two other gyms after the YW. Junie would always be there if you needed her, sharing encouraging words with her infectious smile. I will miss seeing her and knowing that she is just down the street. I look forward to the Day I will see her again in heaven. Sandy Raymond

June was one of the most energetic woman I knew. She had the most beautiful smile and a contagious love for life. She was always very positive and saw the goodness in everyone. We worked out together for years, went to Desperadoes with all of our girlfriends, and had many fun lunches together. I loved her spirit and I know she will be smiling and watching over her family from Heaven. I know she is happy and free from pain now that she is in God’s loving arms. Thanks for the memories, June!❤️❤️
