Martha L Haverkamp, 87, died of natural causes September 9, 2020 at her home in Joliet, MT. She was born June 5, 1933 in Ronan, MT to Alice (Grund) and Louis LeBrun. She was married to Peter Haverkamp Jr. for 44 years. He predeceased her in 1995. Pete’s job led the family to live in many places before settling in Joliet. MT in 1982. Martha worked as a grade school secretary, secretary for the Extension Service and Carbon County Conservation District, council woman for the city of Joliet and for many years was coordinator for the Joliet Food Bank.

Martha had many interests which included singing with the Sweet Adalines, book club, attending local sports events, and her many church activities. She enjoyed walking with her friend Margaret Dewell and spending time with friend Denise Nafts. She had a special place in her heart for niece Patty Green, and nephews Rick and Mark LeBrun.
She is survived by her six children, Victoria (Bill) Thompson, Emily (Elbert) Loomis, Karen Haverkamp, Nancy Haverkamp, P. David (Maxine) Haverkamp, and James (Paulette) Haverkamp, her 12 grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren with one on the way.
A Vigil will be at St. John’s Catholic Church Monday, September 14th at 6:30 P.M. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 A.M. with burial at 2:00 P.M.
