Carolyn (Berst) Adams was born August 3, 1942 in Denver, CO to Ted and Minnie Berst.

She died on September 7, 2020 at her daughter’s house in Park City. She was the oldest of four children. She started school in Columbus and then moved to the Trewin School in Park City, attended a short time in Laurel, and then completed her high school years in Park City.
She graduated in 1960 and married her high school sweetheart Lammert ‘Frank’ Adams in 1961. They were married 59 years. Together they had three children: Sharon (Tim) Thormahlen, Chreston who died in 2009 from depleted uranium poisoning, due to his service in Desert Storm, and Jason.
They moved to Arizona in 1985 and back to Dillon in 1987. They bought a house in the country which she loved. She loved her chickens and peacocks, barn cats and mules.
She belonged to Mizpah C #13 OES and Tirzah #3, Daughters of the Nile. She sold Avon for 30 years, sold real estate, and cleaned houses for many years.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Frank, her children, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and her siblings: Roger (Deb) Berst, Bruce Berst, and Diane (Wayne) Edwards. No services are planned, and cremation has taken place. www.smithfuneralchapels.com.
