Scotty A. Snowden went peacefully home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 30, 2020 with his son, daughter in law, and close friends from New Life Foursquare Church at his side.

Scotty was born on November 16, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio and was a 1964 graduate of Wadsworth High School. He also attained both an associate’s and a bachelor’s degrees from the University of Akron. When Scotty wasn't working in a factory or going to college, he could be found serving in scouting, the Barberton Band Boosters, and Camp Quality, Ohio. Scotty retired to Montana to be with his son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
Scotty is preceded in death by his parents, Edith and George Snowden, brothers Sylvan, Neal, and Curly, and sister LuLu Belle, all of Ohio. He is survived by his son Scott, daughter-in-law Mandy, granddaughter Kiara of Montana, and sisters Georgia (Ron) Allen, Naomi Hersman, Ruth Snowden, nieces and nephews spread across the country, and ex-wife Lorraine and goddaughter Heather Friedlein of Barberton, Ohio.
The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks, gratitude, and love to the staff and caregivers at both Laurel Heath and Rehab and the Billings Clinic Hospital who have cared for Scotty in his last season of life.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers to the family, the family requests that you send a bouquet of flowers in his honor to a nursing home of your choice to brighten the day of the staff and residents as we endure this covid crisis.
