Charles M Handley “Mick”, 84, of Absarokee, MT passed July 2nd,2020 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

He was born June 22nd, 1936 at Lee Summit, MO to Robert and Columbia Jane (Ruff) Handley, the youngest of 13 of the Handley-Morrison families. He grew up in Lodge Grass, MT.
He enlisted in the Marines in 1954 serving in Korea.
After his discharge in 1958 he went back to the ranch for a time and then to Olathe, KS for work. He retired in 1999 from the county being a heavy equipment operator.
He and his wife Betty than moved to Absarokee, MT
Mick was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Beartooth VFW #7311, Absarokee Cancer Support Group, Lions Club, Civic Club and anything else that needed help until his health started deteriorating. He also did a lot of woodworking being noted for his crosses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 12 of his siblings, several nieces and nephews, and one daughter-in-law.
He is survived by sister Roberta Meyers, wife Betty, sons Michael (Robin), Duane (Denise), Charles (Susie), Vern (Renee), Don, Ron (Annie), and daughter Deb (Randy), Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Children and a host of friends. Also cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held July 10th, 2020 at 11 AM at the Absarokee High School football field with military honors. Lunch will be served by VFW Aux. #7311 and Faith Circle Ladies of Immanuel Luth. Church.
Burial at the Rosebud Cemetery, Absarokee, MT.
