Mom was born in Fairview, Montana on January 24, 1932, the daughter of Adam and Amelia Seader. She was the 14th of 17 brothers and sisters. She married the love of her life, Jacob Saur, on March 9, 1952 and moved to Vananda, where he was a dry land farmer. Together they had seven children. After Jake’s death in 1963, she moved her family to Billings. She met Jack Steinback and they were married on August 25, 1972. He preceded her in death in 1998.
Mom enjoyed sewing, crafts, and cooking, as well as caring for her children. She had been active in her church and Livewire group. Mom loved Jesus and taught her children the importance of life in eternity. She delighted in her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her eyes lit up whenever they came to visit.
