William Nedens, 90, left us to be with the Lord on October 27, 2019. He was born on January 7, 1929, in Lodge Grass, Montana, to Fred and Elizabeth Nedens; the 9th of 10 children.

William attended school in St. Xavier and Hardin, Montana. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and in 1955 married Annabelle Ryder in Hardin.
They lived in Hardin where they farmed until moving to Billings where William worked in construction and they made their home. After retiring in 1987, William enjoyed remodeling his home, gardening, traveling and spending time fishing and on hobbies.
William enjoyed collecting and creating yard décor and miniature farm implements. He loved working with his hands and being outdoors.
William is survived by his wife Annabelle, one sister, Lydia Stricker of Hardin, his sons, Jerry, Lester, Joe (Charlotte) and David; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, three sisters and two grandsons.
Visitations will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday at Smith Downtown Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 1, at the Smith Downtown Chapel with military honors and interment at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
