Richard John Henry, 78, passed away on July 16, 2019 in Troutdale, Oregon. He was born on October 13, 1940 in Silesia, Montana to George and Margaret (Krum) Henry. He was raised in Montana (along with his 7 siblings), and he graduated from Senior High School in Billings.

Richard married his wife, Alice Blankenbaker, on December 15, 1962 in Billings. They were married for 56 years and they had two children, Richard Kevin and Vonda.
Richard worked as a butcher in Montana for 22 years. He then worked as a Small Engine Repairman for Coast To Coast for 6 years. Richard and Alice then moved to Arizona, where he worked for Briggs and Stratton Central as a Parts Distributor for 12 years. They then settled in Troutdale, Oregon, where he spent his retirement.
Richard was raised Methodist. He enjoyed helping his brother on his farm, animals (especially dogs) and fishing. He will always be remembered as a hardworking, caring and helpful man.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, and three of his siblings: Hannah Kautz, Esther Morton and George Henry. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Henry; children, Richard Kevin Henry (wife, Joelle) and Vonda Henry; grandchildren, Jake and Tye Henry, and Brandon McBride; siblings, Iline Rehling, Ted Henry, Marion Templin and Gladys Henry; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Ruby.
