Ben Deines went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. He was born in Billings, MT on July 28, 1928 to George and Katie Deines. Ben was the 13th child of 13 children. All brothers, sisters and parents have preceded him in death. Ben was born, raised and worked in the Billings area before moving to Park City, MT where he farmed for 21 years. After selling his farm, Ben started a new adventure of Ben Deines Excavating. His loving wife Niema worked by his side with him for all those years. Ben and Niema (Derheim) were joined together in marriage on June 23, 1946. They have four children: Marlene (John) Wells, Beverly (LeRoy) Schlesener, Les (Tammy) Deines and Brenda (Deines) Ndedi. There are 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Niema, Ben’s loving wife of 63 years, preceded him in death along with one granddaughter. There are many years of fond memories surrounding the annual Christmas tree at mom and dad‘s house. The one wish that Ben desired and prayed for, was that all his family, friends and acquaintances would put their trust in his Lord and know the joy and peace that comes only through him. God bless you daddy, we will miss you horribly but know you are where you want to be, in the presence of your savior.
