Margie Ann Wogamon, 78, of Columbus, MT passed away peacefully on February 10, 2019 with her family by her side. She had been in poor health and her passing was not completely unexpected. Margie was born to parents Kathleen Kiefer and William Parr on December 16, 1940 in Butte, MT. She resided in the Butte and Melrose areas for most of her young life. She married Donald Wogamon in 1960 and they ranched together in the Toston Valley for a number of years until they later divorced.

Margie had a wide variety of jobs and accomplishments throughout her years including being a bartender, teacher, and a foster parent. She always reflected fondly on one summer she had spent fishing in Alaska. Lastly, she drove bus for the Helena Public School District until she retired after a work-related accident.
Margie is survived by her son, Timothy (Renae) Wogamon of Columbus, MT; granddaughter Taryn Wogamon; great grandchildren Weston and Rowan Wogamon all of Klamath Falls, OR; her brother Ronnie (Sandra) Peterson of Butte, MT; nephew Steve Parr; niece Amanda (Cole) Parr Smith; nephew Anthony (Michelle) Parr all of Fort Worth, TX; cousins Denise (Al) Zolynski of Butte; John (Rhonda) Lewis; Glenn (Robin) Lewis all of Butte; Father Thomas O’Donnell of Helena and other numerous cousins. Margie was preceded in death by both of her parents as well as her brother Bill Parr of Austin, TX and sister Roselen Madden of Washington.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the VFW Post in Townsend, Montana.
