Vivian A. Ingraham our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, fell asleep in death at the age of 92 on April 15, 2019, at the RiverStone Hospice House in Billings, MT.

She was born August 28, 1926, in Ray, North Dakota. She was the second oldest of a family of 10 children raised by her parents Edward Israel and Anna Tiede Zundel. Vivian was a woman of many talents and a very hard worker. She loved her family and enjoyed canning, cooking, gardening, sewing, garage sales and shopping. Vivian was also known for her style of dress with her hats and jewelry, clothes and shoes. This love of fashion made her known for her elegance, grace and beauty. But above all Vivian especially loved her God Jehovah. She truly was an example to all who loved the Bible. She would daily read her bible first thing in the morning. She always listened into her meetings on her IPad for bible instruction when her health kept her house bound. For missing her meetings was not an option for her. Vivian faithfully served Jehovah up until her death. Vivian’s life had much heart ache from losing people that she loved in death. Her first loss was her baby boy that lived for only seven hours. She lost her mother and father, four sisters and three brothers, also a four and half year-old grandson, her son-in-law and two of her daughters Diane and Melody, and her husband Roy Ingraham of 31 years of marriage. With everything that life threw at her she showed a spirit of endurance and integrity to Jehovah her God. In a conversation with my mother she told me, she was tired and that the quality of her life was gone. So she was ready to fall asleep in death. She looked forward to the day when Jesus will call her and all her loved ones out of the grave and be reunited as a family. She knew that when that resurrection starts it will be on a paradise earth. There will be no sickness, sadness or pain that will disturb or hurt anyone there forever. She looked forward to the day when she will have new lungs and the energy to help restore the earth to the paradise condition that God originally intended for it to be from the very beginning.

It is with heavy hearts that we all say goodbye to you “Red Grandma”. We are glad you can rest, but we will miss you. Thank you for all the loyalty and love you have given us. For you were the matriarch of our family. We hope that we can follow your legacy and carry-on the beautiful things that you have taught us.

Vivian loved and leaves behind a daughter Terri (Jake) Lambrecht. Stepchildren Kathy (Rich) Vestal, Rick (Julie) Ingraham, Tim (Kaye) Ingraham, Tami (Wayne) Lounsbury and a son-in-law John Harms. Also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with two brothers Lee Roy (Florence) Zundel, Ruben (Carol) Zundel, a brother-in-law Marvin (Mavie) Ingraham, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service for Vivian Ingraham will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 2:00 pm in Laurel, MT at 1007 West 4th St., the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a reception is to follow. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to RiverStone Health Hospice House, 123 S. 27th St., Billings, MT 59101.
