Reuben Clarence Pitsch passed away at the age of 86 on May 2, 2019. Dad fought a terrible fight with having Dementia. Born December 2, 1939 in Garryowen, MT to Dave and Anna (Moser) Pitsch he was the fifth of thirteen siblings. Dad served in the Army from November 1, 1956 to July 18, 1957, when he was honorably released from active duty. Dad met Lavonne Miller and they were united in marriage on December 19, 1959. They made their home in Hardin and began raising the three of us, Sheryl, Sheila and Reuben Jr., where he farmed and ranched. In 1975 Dad moved his family to Ryegate where he continued what he loved doing; farming and ranching and he also loved to fish.

Reuben is survived by his wife which would have been 60 years in December, his son RJ (Reuben Jr) Pitsch of Ryegate, his daughter Sheila (Stovall) of Billings and a daughter Sheryl Sheldon of Florida. Granddaughter Tori (Tyler) Daum of Lavina, great grandson Ruger. Grandsons; Clint Stovall Jr., Seth Stovall, Zane Stovall, and Tanner Pitsch. Also, a step granddaughter Sage Toole, brothers; Butch (Virginia), Victor (Patty), sister Rita (Jim) Ruff and many nieces and nephews.
Dad loved and cherished his grandchildren and all his nieces and nephews. Dad had a heart of gold and was loved right back by all who knew him.
His is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Andy, Art, Robert, Clarence, Fred and Ronald. Sisters; Ruth, Delores and Dorothy, granddaughter Taryn Marie Pitsch, daughter-in-law Jolene (Pitsch) Dyess, and son-in-law Clinton Stovall.
