Frances Maxine Graff left this world on April 10, 2019 to be in heaven with God and her loved ones. She is in a much better place where she is happy and healthy. She will be missed tremendously by those of us left behind, but we have been blessed to have had her as our mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother.

We all have many memories of her that will comfort us during the days, weeks and years to come. She loved her flowers and gardening with a fierceness only equaled by her love of her pets. She was a fantastic baker (especially her sticky buns) which we can all attest to. Christmas was a special holiday for her which included all of the Norwegian baking and decorating of her house. She loved sewing and would spend hours making school dresses for Vonnie and shirts for the boys, and in her later years she would spend many a cold winter day downstairs with her country western music playing and sewing Christmas wall hangings and quilts for everyone. She would work hard from sun up until supper and then enjoyed her nightly bathes, Noxema and chia tea. She had a real loyalty to her family. She went through several life changing heartbreaks and somehow came out on the other side. As Elfie (her mother) once said, “You have to be strong”, and she was. She was a true inspiration to us all and we will miss her.
She is survived by her daughter Yvonne Thomson (Harold deceased), sons, Arlen Potzman (Mary), Dennis Potzman (Barb) and Arnold Graff (Lauri); grandchildren Josie (Chris) Donnelly, Nikkeal (Jon) Beverley, Betsy (Adam) Dernbach and Trevor Graff; great-grandchildren, Sloane, Wyatt, Dyllan, Alexander, Walker and Westyn; and stepgrandson Dean Thomson(Lisa) and daughters Amie and Deanna. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Potzman and Arnold Graff, and son, Darryl Graff.
