Born August 3, 1949 to Jack and Eleanor Pfaff McEldowney. She joined 2 sisters, Patti and Frances and brother, Robert. When she was 9 years old her brother Ronald was born.
She was a happy and loving child who loved playing on the swings at Taft school, fishing trips loaded into her Daddy's station wagon with dogs, siblings, hot dogs and sleeping bags.
She soon passed into her teens and although she didn't know at the time that her friends' annoying little brother would become her one and only love Victor George Krank. They were married May 2, 1968 in Billings at the home of her parents with George and Sophie Paranto Krank and Evelyn Krank as witness.
They had two children, a daughter, Tracie Jo and son, Waylon Victor, four years later. She spent many happy years as a loving mother and homemaker caring for her family and many friends.
In the fall of 1984 she started the job that would touch the lives of so many children as a special needs bus aide for school district 2. The job she was put on this earth to do. For the next 36 years she touched the lives of her special needs children and their families, loving and caring for all of them as if they were her own.
She had many special friends in her life and enjoyed the love she gave to everyone blessed enough to call her friend.
Her caring heart, gentle spirit and amazing hugs will be missed by all.
She loved babies, White Shoulders perfume and puppy breath more than anything in the world and always wanted to know "If it would be ok to wear her Flip flops?"
She is survived by her children Tracie Jo Braley, Waylon Victor Krank;
grandchildren, Levi Michael Krank, Sierra Marie Lira, Dillon James Braley, Kelee Lynn Krank, Journey Marie Krank, Laramie Joshua Kleinsasser; great grandchildren: Marianna Eva Krank, Charlee Mai Dira, Elianna Gaia Soldierwolf; Goddaughter, Ruth Braunstadter, lifelong best friend Karen Braunstadter and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and lifelong friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Victor, parents Jack and Eleanor, brother Ronnie and sister Frances and her many pets who crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
We, Carol's family, cannot express our gratitude to the caring and devoted staff at Compassus Hospice for the encouragement and support of Carol's wish to remain at home. To the many friends and family who came with hugs, kisses, tears and support. Thank you all! Special thanks to Gill for your prayers and blessing her and our family and easing the way for all of us.
Yes, you can wear your flip flops to the funeral and pot luck!
