Obituary for Sharon Emma Boyd

Sharon Emma Boyd
BILLINGS – Sharon Emma Boyd, 75 passed away peacefully September 11th at home with her husband and family at her side, with her very strong faith and love of God. Undoubtedly rejoicing in the Kingdom of Heaven, free of pain and suffering being reunited with love ones for eternity.
Born April 26, 1943 in Columbus, MT as the eighth of ten daughters born to Milton and Agnes (Nelson)
Enger. The family mover to Livingston and later to Helena in 1958 graduating from Helena High School (Honors Society) in 1961 where she was known as the cheerful ticket lady at the Sunset Outdoor Movie Theater.
In 1964 Sharon married Alan Griffiths and through that union came 3 cherished children: Bradley Michael in 1964, Cari Ann in 1966 and Tracy Ellen in 1967. Years later they divorced and she married Phillips Lee “Joe” Boyd and moved her Real Estate business to Billings.
Sharon and Joe enjoyed many memories photographing wildlife, RVing, 4 wheeling and enjoying a shared cabin in the Big Horn Mountains and the Bear Paw retreat south of Columbus. She loved to bake and cook large family dinners. Wiring and plumbing issues were always tackled and completed before “Ole Rheumatoid Arthritis” became a 24-hour part of her life. She never complained and always had a loving smile and heartening presence anchored by her knowledge of the Holy Bible.
She was a Realtor for 30 plus years in Helena, Bozeman and Broker owner of Team Boyd Realtors in Billings, which Ron Boyd operates today. He greatest joy came from helping both buyers and sellers have a smooth closing. Sharon was known as “The Angel with and Angle”. She received the MT Board of Housing award for assisting the most first-time home buyers. She also received The Salesperson of the Year by the Billings Association of Realtors in 1998 and many RE/MAX production awards.
Sharon is survived by her husband; P.L. “Joe” Boyd: sister Doris (Greg) Van Voast of Helena; daughters Cari (Scott) Hutchison and Tracy (Sean) Banks; step-sons Ron (Karen) Boyd, Gary (Carol) Boyd and Gordon (Karen) Boyd. Grandchildren Emily and Jessica Griffiths, Tara and Jena Morehouse, Ales Broxton, Jadon and Duncan Banks; great grandchildren: Devin Thompson; Tristan, Jamie and Kaylee Morehouse.
