Condolence From: Laura (Steiner) Barcus
Condolence: Peggy was a second mom to me. Everyday as a kid, I couldn't wait to see her truck over at Bobbie and John's. I would run across our field to help her feed pigs. I was a huge brat as a child so I'm sure she dreaded seeing me coming at times, but she never turned me away. When my dad got sick Peggy and John never thought twice about taking me in. I lived with them for several months, it was the happiest time of my childhood. She taught me the value if a hard days work, she made me toe the line, and she made me a better person. I am truly sorry for your loss John, Jared, Bobbie, and Billie.

Condolence: We love Peggy too! We have all been very blessed to have known such a wonderful, loving, caring, and humerus, sweet lady. To work with her at county market was a joy. I knew when she was on the schedule, we were going to have a good time!( Kellie) She was very good friends with my mom. She will be dearly missed. All of our prayers go out to the family. God Bless.

Condolence: I met Peggy through her cousin Hank Maynard. There was a connection from day one. She was easy and fun to talk to. I could tell from the short time I knew her that she was a hard worker and enjoyed the life that she lived. I will sure miss our conversations on the phone. She was kind and hospitable the one time I visited her home. My prayers for her John and her children and God bless you all.

Condolence: Aunt Peggy was one tough aunt. She may not have chased us with a tennis shoe, but she did make us tow the line. I have two special memories of Aunt Peggy. The first is her robust laugh. I don't know of anybody that could laugh like her. It came from her belly, heart, and very soul. It placed a smile on anyone's face. The second memory is our shared love for pigs. Two years ago, I came home for Christmas. It had been 27 years since I had been in Montana for Christmas. We stopped over to see Peggy and John, and right there in her kitchen was a pig. Well, it didn't take me long to snatch that little guy out of the box, grab the bottle, and give him a treat. Later Peggy told me she put him there just for me. John, Bobbi, Billie, and Jared, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take comfort in each other and the wonderful memories that your wife and mother created just for you. Dianne

Condolence: We were a few of the "neighborhood kids" who grew up on Peggy's street. She watched out for all of us even when we were being little pains in the butt. She taught us all that hard work never hurt anyone and she herself was the hardest working woman I've ever met in my life. She truly was a "Mom" to all of us and she will be dearly missed. John, Bobbie, Billie, Jared and family, we are so very sorry for your loss. May the many wonderful memories you have ease your pain during this most difficult time.
