The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Guy Copeman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: DawnaLynn Wells
Condolence: I worked with Guy for many years when I was a flight nurse at St. V's. He was a kind, compassionate, good man. Even then I
remember how he NEVER missed work. I hope each day is a little easier for all of you and his memories bring you peace.

Condolence: Guy was probably one of the most unique caring smart funny patient helpful individuals that I am blessed to have known. He taught me so much not only as an xray student but so much more. I am sad for his passing but thankful the suffering is over. To the family my prayers are with you. You all know how lucky you are to have been a part of his life. He will be remembered forever in so many hearts.

Condolence: My sincere condolences for your loss. Guy was a unique person who taught with joy and precision. What he taught applied to radiology, but also to life skills and pride in excellence. He has left an impressive legacy both in family and students.

Condolence From: Neva La Fawn Lewis Kleinsasser
Condolence: Guy was my teacher in 63-64 when I attended ST Vincent's school of Radiology. The program was one year at EMC, now MSUB, and 21 months of hospital training. Guy came to Eastern every day to teach x-ray theory to the handful of x-ray students. He made a complicated subject exciting and easy to comprehend. He was more of a friend than a teacher. He had the best sense of humor and was so full of joy, you couldn't help but be in a good mood when you left his class. Our class was at 1:00 every day. The day Kennedy was assassinated we gathered for class & he had to tell us what had just happened. He told us that we would not have class and that we could go be with our loved ones.
I maintained a professional friendship with Guy for many years. He loved to call and ask for Neva Lewis to throw people off. I was always called La Fawn and my work knew me as La Fawn Kleinsasser. He was always joyful and pulling a prank. My deepest sympathies to you all in your loss.
