Edward T. Frasch
Edward T. Frasch, age 102, passed away July 29, 2018 at Parkview Healthcare Community Nursing Home.
Edward was born on May 12, 1916 in Fairfax, SD to Elizabeth and William Frasch.
He was one of five children: Martha, Walter (Mike), Emil, and Hertha (Mitzy) who have since all passed on.
Edward spent most of his childhood in South Dakota. At age 23, he married Elsie B. Iszler on May 13, 1939 in Billings, MT. Edward and Elsie had two children: Shirley A. Siefken of Wellton, AZ. and Jimmie E. Frasch of Billings, MT.
Edward lived a full and healthy life for over a century and will be remembered for his love for the outdoors, particularly fishing. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, bowler and crossword enthusiast. Ed worked as a professional auto body man. He worked for many years in Billings, MT and even owned his own business, E & L Body Shop. Family members benefited from his exceptional work. Some of his grandchildren started out learning and driving the totaled cars he rebuilt and brought back to life! He eventually retired and spent most of those years in Texas and Montana on the lake fishing.
Edward leaves behind a legacy of two children: Shirley and Jimmie; three grandchildren: Jeffrey A. Troy, Renee’ J. Gackle, and Scott J. Frasch and five great-grandchildren: Andrew S. Frasch, Elisabeth R. Frasch, Makaila N. Troy, Samantha M. Gackle and Nathan J. Gackle
Edward’s Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 am at Billings Peace Lutheran Church.
