Condolence: Jenn- I am so sorry for your loss. Jay gave Marcus his first 'real' job- he was always looking out for the kids! I hope he is in a place where peace is abundant. I hope you will carry on his light- in the midst of your pain/loss. My prayers are with you and Klae.

Condolence: Thoughts and prayers to Jay's family🙏🏻. Jay will be missed. Lots of great memories spending time with Jay, there was rarely a dull moment when you spent time with him. We had a lot of fun times in Billings and also when I visited him in Tempe.
I appreciate the gestures he and Jen made to my family when my mom passed away last year.

Not to sound corny or irreverent, but I hope he is driving a Camaro in heaven right now. Miss you buddy

Condolence From: Jay Scott
Condolence: Where do I start, Jay certainly made an impact on many lives as has been evident by the number of calls, e-mails and texts I have received and the number of posts I've seen on social media from those saying how good he was to them and their children and how they will miss his outgoing personality. I would also like to thank the family for the times you you were so open and took me in for dinners and other, even some very memorable parties you may not have know about and I probably shouldn't mention, at your house. I got to know Jay in Junior High sports at Will James, football in particular in 8th grade where we had a competitive relationship which started a bit rough. But as the years went on we grew closer and by senior year in high school were good friends. We grew even closer when I returned to Billings after college to work. It was evident early that Jay had a gift for sales and marketing and we used to talk about starting a business together. When I moved to Chicago to work for payment processor I saw the perfect opportunity for a business ripe for growth so introduced him and shortly after we formed a partnership.
Although we dissolved it before doing business together we later shared office space and resources on 24th street while we built our individual businesses. It turned out to provide a nice living for both of us to this day. Bryan Blackford, Pat Helgeson, Justice Leachman and others had some of our best times outside of high school at our 10th reunion when Jay took us in for the weekend and made us feel at home as if we were still back in the day. We continued to stay in touch and catch up when possible on a regular basis. In fact I'm glad I was able to spend some time with him at our reunion last year and to talk to him as he was getting back into the payments business over the last few years. I am so sorry for your loss and I can't imagine how tough this must be coming within a year of losing Dave. Please accept my sympathy, he will be greatly missed. Very sad knowing I will never be able to call and hear him answer "Bone!" on the other line which was the nick name he gave me.

Condolence: Dear Roberta and family:

Just saw today the obituary for your son Jay. This is always sad news, and we just want you to know we send you our sympathy and love. Think of you often and how good you were to our Josh when you babysat him - long ago now - but you remember kind people. We always liked your family.

Condolence: i started my career in credit card processing with Jay in 2001 and met him and his wife Jen and enjoyed my time working with them. Jay definitely was full of energy and taught me the bankcard business as I still carry it on today. My heart goes out to his family and im saddened to hear of this tragic news but god has a plan for us all and Im sure Jay is with God and experiencing eternal life at last. God bless you Jay and his family

Condolence From: Jim Helgeson
Condolence: Dear Jay's family,

Mike & Pat are my two sons, both long time friends with Jay. I just learned of Jay's passing yesterday and I immediately began praying and the Lord indicated to me that Jay is in Heaven.
I am so sorry for your loss as Jay was a household name and friend for over 35 years. Jay had a very infectious laugh and personality. What a guy! He spoke so eloquently at Sharon's funeral just a year ago. That was very much appreciated.
All three of us are in California. Son Michael will fly back to Billings today to represent the Helgeson family at Jay's farewell.
Blessings to all at your time of great loss. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Condolence: Dear Johansen Family:

I am so sorry for your loss. I am a friend of Jay's & Jens'.
I am hoping to make it back for the service. I am in California right now. I just found out about Jay's passing today (March 19th).

My life will not be the same without Jay. I will truly miss him. I loved him dearly. You are all in my prayers and will continue to always be in my prayers.

God saw Jay's struggle's and knows him like we could not. God loves Jay as if he were the only person He ever created --just as he loves each of you.

Peace in Christ,
Michael Helgeson
